It has become a common trend for people to be fully engaged and are left with no personal time for own reflection and goal setting. One of the amazing thing found to characterize many a Ugandan is: “they easily pick and easily let go.” Uganda is characterized by high rate of Consumerism: is a social and economic order that is based on the systematic creation and fostering of a desire to purchase goods or services in ever greater amounts. In light of this article’s interest, being busy is so different from accomplishing. Let’s look at the definition of the two words:
Busy/being busy: actively or fully engaged; occupied
To /Accomplish: to finish something successfully or to achieve something

If you have found your self wondering and asking yourself “what is life?” what am I on earth for?” or probably your life is full of routine and a list of “must dos” every day. It has become so obvious that you will not make any adjustment in your schedule until two months have gone by, then it is time you probably sat down, take a deep breath and reflect.
The meaning of life constitutes a philosophical question concerning the purpose and significance of life or existence in general. This concept why are we here? What is life all about? and what is the meaning of it all? can be expressed through a variety of related questions, such as

39 members of a cult called ’End time Gospel’ based in central Uganda, currently in remand prison for holding unlawful assembly and behaving in uncultured manner, have requested the international community to come to their rescue.
The 39 members were arrested on April 25th from Kyebando village 50 kms west of Uganda’s capital, Kampala. By the time of the arrest they were conducting door to door crusades at members’ homes.

PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has hailed the Church of Uganda for joining the struggle to eliminate illiteracy by opening schools and universities country wide.
Presiding over a fundraising dinner for the completion of Merab Kivengere girls’ hostel for the Bishop Barham University College at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala on Sunday, Museveni said this was an emulation of what Jesus Christ did.

Watoto Children’s Choir made up of orphans entertain staff and pupils
AN AFRICAN children’s choir visited an Aberdeen primary school yesterday to perform a concert of gospel music and ethnic dance.
The Watoto Children’s Choir, made up of 22 orphans or abandoned youngsters from Uganda, wore traditional African clothing for the show at Fernielea Primary School. After the concert, the pupils learned more about life in Africa through a question-and-answer session.

"This is a great day in my life and I give all the glory to God. I am the first East African artiste to win six awards in a single ceremony. I have no words to describe my joy," Gospel singer self-styled King of Kapungala, Daddy Owen said shortly after his multiple decorations at KICC on Saturday evening.
A crowd estimated at 4,000 and one million television viewers from all over East Africa following the live fete saw the collabo singer of Kiriro return six times to the stage of the Groove Awards.

Kapungala man Daddy Owen was the most decorated gospel artiste in East Africa on Saturday when he won five trophies at the Groove Awards gala.
Daddy Owen, whose real name is Owen Muhatia, was declared the Male Artiste of the Year. The hit song Kiriro, a collaboration between the man behind the Kapungala genre and Allan Aaron and Kerah, bagged the Video of the Year, Collaboration of the Year and Song of the year awards. It was also the Song of the Year in Central Province.

OMEGA International Ministries has once again organised a mass wedding for 150 couples in Gulu. The joint wedding ceremony will be called the Big One. Aidah Nanyonjo talked to Pastor Michael Kyazze about it.
What is this mass wedding all about? It is a corporate wedding in which several couples exchange solemn marriage vows during one function. It has, since 2004, enabled 130 couples to modestly but honourably solemnise their marital status with tremendous social, spiritual and economic impact.
